The second Autumnal signing here at Gosh! Comics is none other than Bryan Talbot!
Last seen at Gosh! in 2007 signing a mountain of Alice in Sunderland, Talbot is an award winning creator who began in the underground comix scene in the late 60s. A decade later came influential steampunk tale The Adventures of Luther Arkwright, followed by high profile work for 2000AD and many of DC/Vertigo’s top selling titles. The Tale of One Bad Rat won him an Eisner-award in 1996, and his 2007 graphic novel Alice in Sunderland still flies off the shelf here at Gosh!
We (and you, no doubt) are hotly anticipating Grandville, his return to world of steampunk. We’re excited to announce that the publisher, Jonathan Cape, are kindly supplying us with a pre-release of the book for this signing on Saturday the 10th of October, from 2-4pm. Can’t wait?
