Joe Sacco Signing at Gosh! Wednesday 30th September

The internationally famous Eisner-award winning writer/artist and all-round Gosh! Favourite Joe Sacco is the first off the block in our string of Autumn signings!

Disillusioned with his journalistic career, unable to find a job writing the hard-hitting, informative stories he wanted to write, Sacco gave it all up for the editorial freedom of comics. Over the past 20 years he has created some of the best reportage graphic novels of our time. The award-winning Palestine is probably his best known, followed by Safe Area Goražde, The Fixer, and War’s End.

This is a rare opportunity to get your Joe Sacco graphic novels signed by the man himself so don’t miss it! You'll find him in our cosy Gosh! basement on Wednesday the 30th of September from 5 to 7pm.

We’ll see the release of Footnotes in Gaza, his most ambitious work to date, in early December. Rumour has it that we’ll even have an exclusive Gosh! Bookplate Edition. Watch this space!
